TATL baggage allowance reward ticket

Website says TATL baggage allowance for elites 2 free bags x 32 kgs. I live in Europe and called One Pass SC in Brussels to ask what allowance is if I use my elite miles to give a TATL ticket to a friend. After looking it up, they said 2 x 23 kgs + $50 fee for 2nd bag. Is this correct?

This was addressed in a previous note from CO Insider.

where to find answer

Could someone be kind enough to educate me as to how to find said clarification from CO insider?

Read the thread linked above, specifically the post from CO Insider that actually answers the question.

The short of it is that a reward ticket booked by an elite's miles gets the elite baggage allowance, regardless of who the passenger.
