Any last-minute routing suggestions?

Any last-minute routing suggestions?
Howdy everyone! I'm headed over to Europe on 9/18. I currently hold the following routing:
AUS-IAH (CO first)
IAH-LHR (CO business first)
LHR-CDG (AF coach)
CDG-VCE (AF business)
I'm waitlisted for the IAH-CDG flight in business first, but I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for any other alternate routings to make the trip a little simpler. I know I'm pretty much stuck with a double-connection, but the triple-connection I have right now seems overly complicated.
As a quick note, I've been keeping an eye on the IAH-AMS flight as well, but it's not looking good at this point.

Have you looked at IAH-CDG on AF or IAH-AMS on KL?
ETA - neither look to be available right now, but they are options worth keeping an eye on.

The only routings I could find on that day were:
AUS-EWR-AMS-VCE (CO to EWR at 6:30am, NW 792 to AMS).
KL 670 DFW-AMS has availability in J, but no AUS-DFW on CO or partners - you could buy a cheap one-way on AA or Southwest just to make the DFW-AMS-VCE flight. KLM is a lower level for J, meaning 40k one way instead of 50k. An all KL itin on the first leg would save you 10k miles.
PS Just was in Lockhart, TX for some bbq - if I lived in AUS I would be there every day...
