I feel slightly guilty...
 
So CO126 DUB-EWR I'm booked on is delayed 12 hours due to MX. Part being flown in from the U.K apparently- sounds horrible except I never wanted to fly this flight, I booked with a friend but have other obligations. I'm just off the phone with CO and I've got a full refund due to MX. Also got refund for separate itin PHL-SJC that I also wasn't going to fly :)

The friend I booked with is currently enjoying meal after meal and free wifi in a 4* hotel provided for the stranded passengers :) He will also get a room provided by CO at EWR tonight.

p.s. Did I mention these are cheapo 240$ rtn a.i. fares Dub-Phl? Life's good & kudos CO :D
