Checking in for an International flight at SNA

Flying SNA-IAH then connecting IAH-LHR. Flying First Class SNA-IAH then Business First IAH-LHR. I am on the 8:35 AM flight to Houston this Sunday- how early do I need to check in. Also I am able to check my luggage all the way thru at SNA. Not having flown Continental in a long time do they have seaparate first class check in counters.
Thanks

you can check your bags all the bags thru to LHR , no problem.

Look for the 1st class counter , most Right counter of COs

as for arrival time Id say 60 mins min but Im not sure why not give CO a call and ask

theres a UA RCC (lounge at SNA) I think being that you are on a Intl BF tkt that you might be able to get in, theres no PC @ SNA, so ask at checkin

To add to what craz said, yes there wll be a seperate check-in counter for First Class, BusinessFirst, and Elite Members. It is all apart of the 'EliteAccess' benefits.

You'll need the Elite counter at SNA as the other line moves at a snail's pace. Also, through security hop into the "expert" line even if it doesn't look open and it looks like you have to walk through a bunch of empty zig-zags of poles.

It is open, but empty (hence the zig zag) and you'll get through in 2mins compared to the backup of people in the normal line.

Be aware that you need to check bags 60 mins in advance, even though your first segment is domestic.

I did that last time I passed through. I was thrown out and made to wait in the regular line. I was not happy.

I departed SNA last month. There should be a checker at the FC security check point, then you enter the zig zag - then the TSA motions for you to come across the walk way into the checkpoint area. A little strange but it works.

Co.com indicates that BF customers can access UA RCC at SNA (with no guests). Pres Club members can access when flying CO or UA with 2 guests.

The TSA can be really act strangely at that airport. Last time I was there they starting questioning if Continental was running the redeye flight to Newark that evening, even though I clearly had a boarding pass in my hand.
