I'm flying lhr-iah in December in BF. Is or does CO plan on upgrading seats to new lie-flat beds in this cabin? I couldn't find info that stated otherwise. Seems like other carriers have jumped on that bandwagon and wasn't sure about CO.
Thanks!

Yes, they do, though the timeline is uncertain at this point. The 757-200s will likely start getting the new seats first later this fall and the 777-200s will start at some later point.

Thanks for the info. Seems odd they would start with the 7-5's and not their 764's or 772's, as others have done.

I also noticed CO's website says there is a skyteam lounge opposite gate 10 but when I click on skyteam's website, the drop down list doesn't show a LHR lounge. Perhaps this lounge is brand new?

The lounge at LHR gate 10 is a co-branded Skyteam lounge. I doubt that will be available as an option in December when CO leaves Skyteam.

The 752s are easy because they have enough spares or routes where they can swap in a 737-800/900 that the 752s can be pulled out of service for a few days to do the swap once the winter schedule rolls around. That is harder for the 772/764s because there are no spares really. They will be installed on separate tracks, with the 752s running on one schedule and the 772s running on a different schedule and followed by the 764s once they are complete.

Agreed. There is a pretty good chance that CO will be in T1 and that customers will have access to the new *A lounge there by the time December rolls around. Lots more info in the bmi forum about that lounge. But if CO is still in T4 there will be some access afforded BF passengers, either the ST lounge or back to the old one. And, yes, the ST lounge at LHR is brand new. It opened up this summer. Not much of a surprise that the ST website doesn't reflect that; it seems to rarely have accurate and current information.
