Looking for a cheap flight to Hawaii - August
 

I am planning for a vacation to Hawaii on our 2nd marriage anniversary. I am ideally looking for travel dates of Aug 21 to Aug 26 from EWR. The fares around $600 right now at continental. Can we expect the fares to reduce or will the prices go up bcoz of the summer season? Please advice.

I doubt you'll find anyone willing to predict where these prices might go. CO could feel the need to fill some seats or get pressure from airline promos and the price might fall......or maybe oil will skyrocket to $174 a barrel and they'll go up.

$600 doesn't sound too far off though.

Check the PHL-HNL prices if you're willing to make the drive; they are occasionally cheaper. Otherwise, the $600 fare is about as low as they get from EWR-HNL outside of sales (when they drop to ~$400) and I think that the chances of a sale in the next couple weeks for August travel are relatively low.
