Okay, why did they feel compelled to say that round trip wasn't required? Are they implying that we won't want to come back, or that with the state of things in Mexico we won't be able to come back...

I think it may be that you won't be able to come back!

Or maybe with the state of things in the United States, we wouldn't want to come back.

Or because the CO product is so awful that you'll only want to fly them one way. ;)

It is actually interesting that they do not require r/t purchase on these deals. It has been a while since I've seen a sale on CO that didn't require such.

Many Mexico fares, are one-way fares. There is a bit of a tax break to booking both directions on one ticket, but the fares themselves are often times one way fares.

When I search for Mexico trips, I sometimes find the best deals are on a mix of carriers (one carrier out, another back).
