Lounge Access

I'm still kind of new to frequent travel and still a few flights away from Silver. That said I was wondering if having an F class boarding pass without any elite status get you any type of lounge access?

Thanks in advance.

F international (but not Caribbean) will get it for you. Domestically, not on CO.

Thanks for the quick reply.

If it is ticketed as International Business, then flights to the Caribbean/Mexico/Canada will grant you access to a PC.

Ahh yes, that's right. Caribbean is allowed into CO lounges, but not partner lounges. Mexico/Canada is allowed for all SkyTeam partners.

CO.com link

BusinessFirst and International Business Class customers are also welcome to visit the Presidents Club*. A same-day BusinessFirst or International Business Class boarding pass is required for admission. BusinessFirst customers can also bring up to two guests, or a spouse and children under the age of 21. Domestic First Class customers do not qualify for admission.
Related question, if I may. Say I have a multi-segment flight on the same day, and only one of the flights is in International F (the rest are in coach): will my one and only F boarding pass allow me access to PC's on any of the stops? For example, SJO-EWR-IAH-HNL, only SJO-EWR is F: PC access in IAH (assuming same day)?

I would say yes

Yes you would have PC lounge access.

We are ticketed in BusinessFirst to SJU (Puerto Rico). I assume its considered domestic, but what about lounge access in IAH? Thanks.

From the link just a couple posts above:

Customers confirmed in International Business Class between the U.S. and the Caribbean (including Puerto Rico) will also have access to Presidents Clubs, but not any affiliated lounges.

Ahh, excellent! Thank you. What about on the way back from Puerto Rico? I.e. we are arriving in CO Business First from San Juan, but continuing on NW First domestically.

You are not flying BusinessFirst. You are flying in International Business. That actually makes a difference in terms of lounge access.

Still, per that same text, you are eligible to visit the PC in IAH as you connect but no partner lounges.

Thank you for your reply. I understand the marketing terminology per CO quite well and fully aware of differences between BusinessFirst, Intl Business, and First. Since this specific route is marketed as BusinessFirst per co.com, and actually has Intl Business service, thats what my question was about, lounge access on the return, so it looks like the return transferring through IAH allows me access to PC in IAH.

The route is NOT BusinessFirst. It is not marketed as such, either. Co.com has a habit of not displaying those correctly as noted in the FAQ. But you are definitely not flying in anything marketed as BF. BF is only for transoceanic long-hauls. The shortest BF route is LAX-HNL.
