:D Mushroom soup!

I know this is contentious, but I like the mushroom as well.

I think soups would go over well at a CO DO.

Soup can be one of the meal courses while at the DO, I'll be glad to eat it up :)

Just about everything but things that rise to the top are picking exit row seats when booking (as a Gold+ Elite), the margaritas and the smell of the liquid soap in the lavs.

The people at CO to me set them apart from others. They are a group of people that care and want to make your travel pleasant.

I like CO's ability to listen to its customers. A few months ago I sent in a suggestion letter to CO Care asking for some consideration in installing electronic boarding card readers in MFE. A few days ago when passing through the airport, I saw these electronic boarding card readers. Now I'm sure it was not just because of my letter, but still it's very nice to see them in MFE.

I have family who work for CO so I'm biased a little already, but since becoming a responsible adult and travelling a lot on United and US (AC codeshare), I appreciate the little things about CO more. I hope after joining Star the PCs stay more like MLLs and don't fall to RCC level. I also like that CO offers rewards to parts of South America for just 35,000 miles still!

(I also hope I can fly CO to ORF or RIC on AC codeshares after October instead of just UA.)

There are so many things I really enjoy and like about CO...and I'm thankful for CO since I was a US dude and they have been destroyed in the past couple of years.

There is one thing that hasn't been mentioned here...and that is "pricing." I have to say, I find the pricing that CO offers to be very, very competitiive and fair.

I tend to be a customer of Business or First Class...and I enjoy that I can do the B-Up and Y-Up fares....and that they are typically well priced. I even do the A fares on routes like PVD-SMF....$424 (~$0.20/mile) for a confirmed F seat, all the way. That's darned good!

And, like a great many of us, I too have been just hammered by the current economic downturn, so catching a break on occassion DOES make a difference. This past week I flew PVD-SFO-PVD, via CLE both ways for $300.40 (~$0.06/mile)...and I used 15,000 miles to upgrade to F (O/W...interesting story on why I didn't go 30K and do R/T) And this coming week, I'm heading to FLL from PVD....and I bought a $215 fare...and it's upgraded both ways. That helps me right now.

And of course, the web site, the service, the CO clubs, CO Insider, fed at meal times...etc., etc.

In short, I'm THRILLED that CO Insider hooked me up with a status match a few years back and that I've found a new home. And with the spring promotion, I'll be re-qualled for Platinum by the end of the month! My wife will be close to being re-qualled as well for Silver. And, I'm going to be a little over a third of the way to my first "Million Miler" qualifier...and that program has value.

Thanks CO! Good to be here! Glad one airline does believe that focusing on customer wants and needs makes sense. :)

I, too, am a US defector and honestly, it was VanTheMan who lead me on to CO after being a loyalist to USAirways for so many years. I just couldn't believe what I was missing for so long. CO has treated me like a human again while i travel and I value that. People are cheerful (for the most part with the exception of EWR). CO's pricing is fair, even from my small airport, and love the B/Y-up option when I am able to take advantage of it. It's just a completely different flying experience that is pleasurable and I value that. Most of my flying is CO Express and while I hate the barbie jets, they are some of the more comfortable ones out there.....12A....the best!

Now, they have the customer experience thing down so I hope they will work on strengthening One Pass as far as reward redemptions go. Everything else is great compared to what I was earning on US. I already have more lifetime miles on CO than I ever had on US......good deal!^

+1 for the 'co-workers' who understand that serving the passenger is their job, not an interruption of their job / social hour.

Love the old school 2-3 course meal service on transcon F flights...

The fact you still can get some kind of complimentary meal, be it pizza or whatever on medium haul flights in Y class is amazing in this economic climate...

President's Club is great compared to other US carriers...

I like their route map b/c I can see where CO flies non-stop from hubs. ^^^ Some airline route maps simply have dots representing airports served or include direct flights... thus the path towards the goal (where can I fly Friday evening, return Sunday, and not miss any work?) becomes muddied.

CO is convenient for me, their route network from IAH is great, and they're investing for the future.

Oh yeah, pda.continental.com...the ability to track where a plane has been...

When I email my station manager, the regional mgr, the top level of CoMic or the VP of CO itself I get a response. Never bugged Larry himself yet :D

Show me a Top 500 company that the top brass listens to their customers and reply in person. In fact show me a Top 500 company where you can get the direct phone numbers of the top people.

When there is an issue / conflict / whatever they meet me at the gate and personally walk me through the the airports to ensure things go smooth. No kidding and I'm only a lowly Plat level but have been assisted from point A to point B a few times by CO staff (CO Mic at lest, gotta admit some of the red coats in IAH and EWR need some work)

When BKK shut down they got me out of BKK in first class and safely on alternate airlines as I ticketed through CO. They called ME and kept me updated from the mainland while I relaxed by the pool in BKK.

When there are differences in services or product offered by stations they listen to you and sort out the issues so there is some uniformity.

They fly a mechanic on some of the flights to ensure safety.

They might not be the cheapest but they fly and land safely and take care of customers. I'll pay the extra 10% or whatever for the above.
