Question

I just flew my last leg on Continental for the year and just noticed that, on my flight out on CO 9 to Tokyo, I noticed that the baggage claim receipts were had "VIP" printed on them. Any idea what this is? My bags have been coming out first or second pretty consistently, but not sure this has anything to do with it.

Just a few details that I thought of that could be part of it, but not certain what exactly resulted in this:

- I have just shy of 250,000 EQMs for the year (get status matched to other airlines through company, so just rack up miles on CO)
- I am CO*
- I have the Presidential Plus MC

Thoughts appreciated.

Pretty much all of the elites get that printed on them... along with Elite Access on the boarding pass...

Doesn't vip always print on the bag tags when you are Elite or flying BF ?

Passengers flying on First or BusinessFirst tickets along with full Y fares also receive this same notation. Nothing special.

Yep, forget the full Y fares and BF tickets... as a non-elite they get Elite Access Priviledges for the flight
