Never been to any PC but assume if I end up with 1 1/2 hours before flight I’ll be happy there?

If you like wine, check out some of the premium selections they offer at the President's club. These are very good quality wines/Champagnes sold pretty much at cost and served in a nice carafe and glass. Personally, I love the Duckhorn Merlot, which retails for ~$50/btl.

House red & white are available for free, of course.

My usual wait (I've been in the peon line for years) is 5-10 minutes. I will agree, though, that the elite line is sometimes no advantage at all.

I've seen the Elite line being way worse than the regular line. Some people have to walk across the blue carpet or they don't realize they can also use the regular line that has 5 people in it instead of the line with 50 people in it.

Here's a photo form the PC near gate 70http://www.flickr.com/photos/olton_hall/2774620699/
and heres the view from there.

Agreed although I have read that elites are occasionally redirected back to the elite line when they try to use the peon line.

The worst I have ever seen is the the security check point for Concourses B & C in STL, where the elite line moves at a snail's pace and is always--in my experience--a huge disadvantage.

Oops, forgot to ask if CO has curbside baggage check @ EWR?

Thanks again for photos, security line and wine info, much appreciated.

How do you all feel about stowing bags in the PC luggage room? It's just right there by the entrance and unattended. Twice I've seen it being used by people on their cell phones, as it is probably the quietest area of the PC. I rarely see any luggage in there. When I put my carryon in there, by dh was surprised (and he's the member), he felt it was just like leaving it unattended at a gate. But I don't think anyone touched my stuff. I was rather surprised to see so many people in the PC with their carry on luggage at their feet.

I think if there were a door and you had to check your luggage in and out, like with a coat check matron, then more people would use it and the PC would be less cluttered with baggage.

I usually don't have a problem leaving my rollerboard in the check room but I'd NEVER leave my laptop bag (although I have seen some in there....not sure if they had computers in them, but still.)

yea, the hnl PC is a bit run down and service is very lacking. Only plus it had on my last trip was the fresh pineapple they had next to the snacks.

Don't think I'd ever leave my gear "unattended" as in just sitting there, I got a key for a large locker and put it all in there, just had to leave a CC voucher which was ripped up when I returned key.

Seemed pretty secure to me, but I guess someone could break in if they really wanted to.

Of course, all the PCs have free wifi and decent clean bathrooms.

Yes but how come the inside of the stall doors on both mens rooms (at the 80-something PC) look like they've been hit with several bullets?

I realize it's Jersey but still... :)
