Web CKI for this flight possible?
This will be my first flight on Continental. I'll be flying
CDG-EWR on CO 57 (the 777 flight) EWR-CDG on AF 19 Ticket is on CO stock. I am a Skyteam Elite Plus (Flying Blue Platinum in fact). Will I be able to print my boarding pass at home for this flight? Is it possible for transatlantic flights? From Paris? Does it cause a problem that the return flight is on Air France? Just asking, because I know from experience that the AF web CKI system would have trouble with two airlines on one ticket. One more question: what wait times can I expect at immigration at EWR? This flight gets in at 12.20pm, not the busiest time, but then I don't know whether EWR tends to have well-manned immigration booths. Thanks |
I am not 100% sure on the OLCI question (although I think it will be possible) but to answer the immigration question, this flight often arrives into Terminal B in EWR. This can help quite a bit with the wait times compared with the majority of flights around that time that arrive in C. I would estimate 30min for immigration, although if another flight has arrive just before you then this could be significantly more.

CO does permit OLCI for international flights. You will likely run into trouble because CO doesn't have your passport swiped into their system yet. And by trouble I mean that you should be able to check in but will still have to see an agent in the check-in area to get a boarding pass. As a ST E+ you can use the EliteAccess/BF line at CDG.

You should be able to enter your passport information online in advance and then do OLCI for Continental.
Recently, I was unable to OLCI for an AF flight ewr-cdg in advance as I was not FB elite :(. |
