1E and 1F on the 752?

Those are the only two seats that my travel companion and I could get together. I know they don't have any bulkhead cut outs. Does the legroom feel really cramped? I'm 6'1. Does the footrest go all the way up as in to the manual horizontal or does it reach against the wall? Thanks

My seat of choice on a 752 if I can't get 1A or 1B is 1E or 1F. The foot rest doesn't come anywhere near the wall when in the horizontal. I'm 6 feet tall and find 1E/F has plenty of space for me to relax and stretch out.

Terrific seats. Plenty of room. No one ahead of you to recline into your seat. The only (minor) disadvantage is that at night TATL, you'll get a little more light from the galley.

I'm about the same height and have never had a problem in 1E or 1F (although, I prefer 1A or 1B).

Are you reading seatguru by any chance?

Seatguru has an anti-bulkhead bias, and I've found many of their bulkhead warnings to be not nearly as bad as they say.

You will be happier in these than any other row, so long as you don't mind hearing the chatter/food prep happening in the galley. The seats have ample leg room, the chair reclines properly, leg rest extends fully, and no one reclines into your lap. You will be able to reach out and touch the person in row 2, but I'm sure you will refrain ;)

Very true for CO as CO tends not to punish a bulkhead passenger. UA, on the other hand, has some pretty miserable bulkhead seats. In those cases the SeatGuru warnings are, IME, quite accurate.

NW and DL too. no love for the bulkhead seats. Ive found all Bulkhead seats on CO to be far roomier (leg room wise) than the aformentioned. the only exception being the most recent config of the 735. not so much.

galley light/noise reduced in 1E/1F

The bulkhead shields 1E/1F from the galley. 1E/1F therefore actually have reduced galley light (if you have a redeye flight) and noise as compared to 1A/1B.

The person in 1F can access the aisle even with 1E reclined and footrest elevated.

I am not sure why the cutout on the AB side should make a differnece in legroom because the seats already have at least 55" of pitch. I have flown in 1B and 1E on the 752 many times and have not really noticed a difference between the two, other than the small cutout on the AB side - the bulkhead seems to be equally far on each seat pair.

Also, to the OP, remember the manual switch that can be used to extend the footrest even farther than the power switch allows.
