How strict is PC about number of guests?
I'm travelling to / from SEA next month for a wedding and will be in Term B at the same time as my mother / father / grandmother...how strict is SEA (and PC in general) about the 2-guest rule?
|
I was in the SEA PC last weekend and the agent allowed a gentleman to bring in 3 guests - his wife and what appeared to be his mother and father. Of course, YMMV.
|
I think (but am not positive) that your mother and father are considered immediate family and, therefore, they will let you bring everyone in.

I don't think so. I've always been told that immediate family is spouse/partner and all children under 21. Parents don't count. The SEA folks may let it slide anyways, but I do not believe they are officially covered.
The thought is (I believe) - adults over the 2 guests - pay their own way in. You can always get a day pass for one - if they do not travel much. High but the best alternative. My thought - try and if denied, just be prepared to quickly pay the $45 for the third so as not to make a scene with parents & grandmother. |
parents do not count, tried it once.

I stand corrected.

What if for example you are:
1. OnePass Platinum Elite on an international itinerary 2. Traveling in first class 3. AMEX Platinum Could you bring in 2 guests for each "qualification", so a total of 6 guests?? |

I would hope the entry attendants are being very strict with the number of guests, especially at peak times. It's hard enough finding a place to sit or work in some of the hub clubs during peak travel hours, and I shouldn't have to go find a 'less used' club location away from my gate just so other people can fill my preferred location up with their extra guests. |

Item 1: Only 1 guest. Item 2: FC does not allow entry. CO BF varies from 0 to 1 to 2. Item 3: Two if flying CO PC membership: 2 if flying anyone - including WN, B9, AA, etc. |
Extra guests for PC or Amex Platinum members are $25 per guest for one club and $45 for multiples. NWA and DL club members pay $45.
Parents, siblings, and other family members count as guests not immediate familly which is spouse and children under 21. Only one credential per customer is allowed. |
I am still not clear: traveling with husband, sister and brother-in-law.....are sister and brother-in-law the two guests, and husband "family" and also allowed?

Nope. You can either have your 2 guests or your family (spouse). Or you can pay the $25 for the one extra guest.
|
And the SEA PC is TINY. I mean one small room. At 8 am one recent Saturday it looked like the waiting room at the Greyhound station. I got my chowder at the Ivar's stand and stayed outside.
