Also of note, there is a Delta lounge that is bigger and has about the same offerings. I did try to go there to get a Mojito but of course the bartender there didnt have knowledge on how to make one.

SFO might be behaving differently, but the official policy is you must be traveling on Alaska/Horizon - so whereas you might get in OK now, that experience is subject to change at any time. If they deny you access, then they are enforcing the correct policy.

If one is familiar with SFO, a whole lot of time can be saved by cutting through short term parking. But you can also get turned around in there.

Second this. Walking across the skybridge and through the top level of the domestic garage can save time if you know where you are going.

The staff at the SFO PC is super nice.

And I believe that this is a relatively recent (i.e. last few months) change in policy. Can anyone confirm?

It used to be the policy, then it officially wasn't the policy. However recent reports from the last couple of months have indicated that maybe AS went back to the old policy, that you had to have a ticket on AS, to use their lounge.

I'm not sure if it is actually policy or if it is just a rule that has been manufactured by the SEA Board Room management. AS Board Room members can officially use all President's Clubs as long as they show a same day boarding pass for either AS or CO. See: http://www.alaskaair.com/as/www2/Fli...tionsHours.asp

Club Room members traveling on Continental Airlines or Alaska Airlines have access to 18 domestic and four international Continental Presidents Club locations for the same day that they hold a ticket for travel on Continental or Alaska Airlines.
CO doesn't have a similarly stated policy, does it? I know there is a sign at the SEA Board Room but, as a recent UA refugee, I know that individual lounges often make up their own rules. Of course, many aspects of the CO/AS relationship are not reciprocal (e.g. EQM's) so I wouldn't be surprised if the official policy is no reciprocity.

I used the AS Board Room at SFO when flying CO two weeks ago.
