COPA- Houston flights now bookable on Copa Website

This may have been posted already, but for the first time ever today, I was able to book a Copa reservation from Houston on the Copa website. You may recall Houston was never in the drop down selection of destination cities but I checked today and it is now there. Now I don't have to go through a travel agent to do this and I'm thrilled!

You are correct. Newark is also bookable.

finally! thats great.

how odd, CO sells final holdings and now they are more integrated!

I noticed this on orbitz too.

So does this mean that one would earn a booking bonus of 2000 OP miles on copaair.com as opposed to booking the same flight on continental?

I think so, assuming that bonus is still a live promotion (haven't flown CM in a year)...

The flip side is CM does not bonus discount fares to full EQMs when booked through their site.

Actually, CM does give the full 100% EQMs when booked on copaair.com, (see http://www.continental.com/web/en-US...FD2747650AA963) and yes, they still offer 2,000 miles bonus for booking online.

I don't know that for sure, but I've never seen a CM fare that falls outside the 100% buckets anyway...Maybe some of the specials that get on MRdeals are those classes, but not the flights I've ever looked at. (contrast this to Delta, where something like a $400 IAH-ATL still books into L,U,or T)

Cool. They only want $6,000 for a coach ticket IAH-PTY-SCL over Thanksgiving.
