CO Discount Coupon; Transferable, but void if sold

I received in the mail a couple of coupons for discounts on travel.

The front print describes it as "Transferable"

However, the back rules say "This certificate is void if bartered, sold or used to promote products and/or services not authorized by Continental"

So what does this mean? I can give it away but not sell it?

This is really no different than your OnePass miles: you're free to use them to purchase an award for another person, but if this person pays you for the award you are violating the rules.
