Id say you get over yourself.
The OP posted above in their last post( the 3rd 1 above yours), that they were #1 on the Upgrade list, they can know that via the PDA system or if an agent looked and told them. The only thing that will drop them would be if a Plat comes along and purchases a tkt or if a Gold purchases a higher fare then they did.
That said I would agree it seems the OP is pretty new to CO and doesnt fully understand the system as yet. Now had the OP not posted that they were #1 on the list, I would have agreed with what you said 1000%. Since they said they were #1 I fully understand the OPs bewilderment as I too was once a victim of it, till I got to understand that COs English and mine doesnt always mean the samething.
BTW I guess they were in fact Uped otherwise I would have thought the OP would have made such a post Bashing CO that they would have been suspended for the language they used
