? about 777 in-flight ent

I am leaving for London on the 27th and I went to the continental website to see what movies were going to be shown on the entertainment center in BF. I read that some 777s are fitted with a new entertainment system that has many more films to choose from and that can be stopped and re-started. It also said that most 777s will have this new improved system by the end of 2008. My question is, have any of you been lucky enough to come across a flight with this new option? Is there a route that regularly uses these planes already outfitted with the new entertainment system?

I'm flying out of Newark to Gatwick but return from Heathrow. Anyone on the Newark to London routes enjoy this new perk? Thanks!

The aircraft with this IFE are rotated throughout the CO network. Check http://pda.continental.com/info 2 days before your flight and in the "in flight amenities" you will see what IFE the aircraft has.

In the CO FAQ sticky there are details about no. of aircraft converted, etc.

I did EWR-HKG a few weeks ago, and got full AVOD IFE and 110V power on both segments. So, it does sometimes happen, you never know. While I'd say they probably put them on long distance routes, there is also the high dollar demand from LON, so I'm not sure what the preference would be...
