Anyone Achieve Platinum for 2009 Yet?
I am not even close with only 10 segment points, but I remember last year reading of people attaining it in Jan.

Making plat is a good thing, of course.
Making plat by the end of January is not a good thing, although I guess you do save money by not needing a permanent residence anywhere...

It's still anyone's game...
As of today, no customers have qualified yet for 2009 Platinum Elite, or even Gold, for that matter.

I am close to Silver (although I do not need it) at 20,009 by 1/20 with 12 segments.

Those HKG flights are packed in coach throughout the winter holiday season. What we need is longer and more flexible dates for R fares on CO99/98. There are empty seats on many days.

expect to be silver by feb 11 after my sjo-ewr in H fare (With BF upgrade)
it turns out that I did the H fare basically because I expected zero travel during the year by now I have SJO-TUL and SJO-LAX planned (Talk about a miscalculation)

I will be at 15k and 12 seg by the end of the week - I should requalify for plat sometime between april and may.
