A man can live on cold deli plates alone!

I just finished IAH-SMF-IAH-PHL-IAH-SMF-IAH-PHL-IAH-SMF-IAH

Pretty much all I had over the last 3 days was the cold deli plate (they did offer me breakfast once and the shrimp salad once - due to the meals at mealtime rule )
The cold plate is a surprisingly consistent well balanced meal consisting of:
3 salami slices
1 turkey slice
5 - 6 cheese cubes
1 marinated sun-dried tomato
3-4 mini carrots
3 celery sticks
3 Carr’s table crackers
1 pack of Milano cookies
1 Fruit bowl (grapes, pineapple, cantaloupe, honeydew, orange, grapefruit)

Caloric needs can be supplemented with wine, beer, or the High-fructose corn syrup soda of your choosing.

p.s. Philly catering, the 3 blueberries were a nice touch yesterday!

p.s.s. I am delirious

It is usually very shriveled up and difficult to identify. It's hidden by the carrots and celery.

Don't forget that offering of a free (squished) mouse at IAH yesterday. I had the deli plate last night IAH-OAK and it was pretty good!

If ever a mileage run called for one's own victuals, this one did.

... I had the deli plate on an OAK->IAH red-eye last week. Cheese wedge instead of cubes, with 2 small sundried tomato blobs. Surprisingly good for a snack (although I would rather have had a few Casper's Hot Dogs)...

I hear it was an escapee from the test-kitchen for CO's new BF-Only lounges. They're going super high-scale, with ancient Roman Recipes. Yummm, can't wait

Xyzzy and I saw a mouse freshly "prepared" (stomped by some guy) as we walked to our flights.

The cold plate is okay for a snack, but I definitely could not live off of it for three days. The cheese cubes/wedges and fruit are the highlights - I generally do not touch the meat.

Nah, came from a UA flight. They're doing reconnaissance in preparation for a possible merger. http://flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=776249

Maybe the "stomper" was "Lar’baby©?"

congrats on getting through that. The chicken burrito I had was passable, though I think I would prefer the shrimp from the chemical packet.
