We Lost Access to JFK Oasis Lounge T4

Today while awaiting for a friend to arrive on NWA, I attempted to access the Oasis lounge, originally a NWA WC, then the T-4 SkyLounge.

I was denied entry as a President's Club member which is a recent change as up until two months ago we were welcomed to this lounge.

I checked CO.com and it no longer lists the Oasis lounge .

Pity, that lounge was fantastic. Guinness, Red Stripe, and lots of tasty beverages; sandwiches and pastries; and computers. Better than any PC, IMO.

Was this the landside Aer Lingus lounge that EK used to use before it opened its own lounge?

In any case, to this latest Presidents Club membership devaluation.

Yes, Aer Lingus, Air Jamaica, and a few others used it. Regardless, it was usually real quiet, well stocked, and a great place to hide out.

Yes, it was - nice furniture, real food, high quality beverages, and a great view of the aircraft at T4 (loved those chairs that faced the windows). I also liked the library area.

Yeah, well I'll take that trade for the new, upcoming LAS President's Club.

I'll assume DL CRC members aren't able to use this club now either, which is a shame because it's easily the nicest club I've been to in the United States. Good beer, food, wi-fi, nice view, etc. Was great when I would have to pick up people at JFK...if I got their early, I could head to T4 and wait until they landed to meet them and have a beer and relax during the interim.

From T8 to T4 lounges ?

I wil be lfying on AA in 2 weeks but have no access to ow lounges. I have a priority pass card with my Amex card, I understand it gives me access to lounges, would you recommend T4 oasis or The Lounge? or any other lounge for that matter that would be BEFORE security , as I am leaving T8 AA ? And also how long does it take to go from T8 to T4 ? Thanks ...

I prefer the Oasis for its liquor selection, views, and computers. However, if you are there around dinner, I'd suggest stopping by The Lounge to grab some food as they usually have some decent three course choices. You could always check out both with the Priority Pass.

My favourite was the showers located in the back of the mens room. The lounge itself was mess (full of kids) at the back family room.

But I agree, the food and booze was excelent. So were the views.
I used this lounge primarily for trips on KL.

I only wished the lounge was located past security as opposed to before.
