Positive comments about CO

I'd like to post a couple positive comments about my CO experiences.

Upgrades:
While I don't travel internationally anymore or transcon very often,I've been upgraded the vast majority of my flights, better than 90%, including NW on my OnePass number.

Reward travel:
Again, no international, very few transcon, but no trouble getting flights, although they are almost always standard rewards.

OnePass Service:
Without going into too much detail, I recently had reason to contact OnePass (via email). My request had to do with old, missing mileage. The rep I dealt with was fast, pleasant and efficient. I wound up with more miles than I thought (enough for a very nice anniversary trip).

In-flight:
Generally at least pleasant and usually quite friendly. And when I happen upon a flight with a meal (not very often), it's usually not bad, pretty good, in fact.

All in all, I'm very pleased with how CO treats me.

Again, just my opinion (and remember, I'm trying to increase my post count).

As a CO traveler who does most of his traveling AUS/JAN, I give three ^^^ as well.

I am a die-hard EWR CO*, who thinks CO is the CATZ@ZZ! ^^^

I buy Y fares at only a small premium, and enjoy extra miles. ^Service is ABOVE and BEYOND as a whole! ^Meals are the topper! ^

I never knew what I was missing while spending numerous HORRIBLE years on US!

Bump

I was headed to the F lav when I tripped over a (wait for it)......FA (hey their shoes are black... and it was a redeye). Instead of busting out the can of whup@zz(TM) she apologized profusely (it was my fault and I was apologizing the whole time). She was a very nice person.

I'm actually very dissapointed with CO. I do get some domestic upgrades here and there but never on the transcon flights (and who cares about upgrades in a one hour flight on the smaller planes?) Their availability for reward on int'l flights suck bad. Their NYC-TLV is sold out 6 months ahead for all dates in the summer. Their food is terrible - I seriously don't understand how people eat it. It's both bad and extremely unhealthy. I bring my own food for the long haul flights (like buy sushi at the airport or something.)

I think CO has the best FAs of the legacies, wait I mean "network carriers" per Larry Kellner.

It's got some losers like everyone else, but CO employees seem to take far more pride in what they do than the miserable people you run into at US or AA.

If I fly legacy now it's either UA or CO. If CO added channel 9, I'd be willing to make a lot more connections through IAH.

CO has a first class product that many people find worthwhile to purchase. That's why even plats have difficultly upgrading on transcon flights. If you want consistent upgrades, you can try US or NW whose F product most people will not pay for.

With OP, you don't have to redeem international travel on CO. Many other people have enjoyed redeeming on AF or KL.

I'm not going to elaborate on the catering. Suffice to say, the same people who complain about lack of food may be among the first to complain about the taste when it's provided free of charge.
