CO VS Code Share Flight Ticketing Debacle
I bought one of my employees a R/T ticket on CO from LGW to EWR. We changed the return (EWR to London) from CO metal to a morning CO code share flight on VS, and paid CO the change fee. When he came to check-in at EWR for the flight, VS they refused to issue him a boarding pass as they could not see that he paid for the CO ticket. In the end he had to pay VS $800 to get on the flight.
We have contacted CO and they have offered to refund the return portion of their ticket, which will amount to about $250.00, but they claim that is all they can do. In contacting VS they do not accept responsibility for charging the $800.00, claiming that CO did not send them the right information. The VS message from CO in their reservation system was as follows: EWRKPVS .LAXRMVS 161133 CVT05X REC LOC LAXCOBF17BT111111///IAH/CO/A/US/USD/SU// SMO RM CO 13SEP18007 1.1XXXXXX/XXXXXMR 1 VS 18N 16SEP$SU EWRLHR HK1 0820. 2000 GEN FAX 1. We cannot seem to get anywhere with CO or VS, so anybody got any suggestions on how to get our $800.00 back that we had to pay VS? Thank for any help. |
When I changed a CO ticket with a code share (KE) online, the changes were listed (flight city pairs) in the credit card statement. Check to see if the CC has this.
