PC Complaints
Recently PC's have been annoying me. That hasn't happened for awhile now, not since the great beer downgrade of eons ago.
1) EWR & CLE - Tables w/ non-functioning power outlets. I get this more and more. I see people all over sitting at the tables yet plugged into the wall. What gives? 2) Lazy agents? I was at ORD and asked the CO agent to look at a record for a flight the next day (I wanted to set seats, the web site was (again) refusing to do it). I didn't tell her what I wanted, I just asked her to pull a record. She asked me if it was for today and when I said no, she refused. She said 'same day service' only. What the heck is this?????? $xxx/year and I can't have an existing reservation looked at????? It's not like I tried to make a reservation or ticket something, etc. Sheesh. Do I have a beef with this agent or is this indeed the policy? |

I've been getting alot of that at the IAH South PC. I am also getting tired of the slow internet connections. |
Nearly all of the power outlets at the PC in BOS don't work. Not only the ones on the tables, but also the wall outlets. There's only about 4 sockets in the whole club that actually work. (No complaints otherwise)
Another random complaint: The big-screen TV in the TV room at the E PC at IAH gets terrible reception. |
The plug issue
The plug issue is atually probably more our fault to a degree. They are simply extension coards that are plugged into the floor plugs. As peolpe move theese it breaks them down.... At the same time the tables are not secured to the floor and thus can easily move... SO a true toss up on who is to blame...

More plugs would be welcome, especially in the EWR C1 PC where half the seats are around those high credenza-like cabinets with lights on them but no plugs available. There must be electricity there; just get an electrician to come in and put a couple quad outlets in the millwork. |

I truely have found service to be lacking from both PC & WC agents in the combined club....such service isn't found anywhere else in either system
If the desks by the fireplace are staffed (I'm guessing maybe 50% of the time I've been there), they can be helpful for future reservations. |

There are comment cards in every CO club. If you find a problem, fill out a card and mail it in!
My biggest beef has been the lack of functioning electric outlets. Hopefully, this is changing. They did seem to put quite a few of them into the new IAH A club. |
I just don't understand why some of the outlets don't work... Do people shove things in them or what?
My two trips to the PC have both been a little disappointing (but I still sprung for a membership) with the wireless being completely unusable and there being nowhere to plug-in my laptop (IAH C South). Something else I noticed was the number of people on their phones. I don't mind it but a lot of them were loud and on the verge of being annoying. I am hoping to figure out more on the IAH-EWR-SEA run and maybe I'll get in a stop at the AS BoardRoom in SEA and try out the soup. |

If you don't ask, the other has no opportunity to refuse and prove that they are really a schmuck and not just oblivious to those around them. |
