baglady's link to the KFC "sandwich" reminded me of a place in the hublet (Miracle's in University Circle and Tremont) that used potato pancakes for sandwiches instead of bread. Very yummy but not lacking in calories.

opsprof loves the dentist. He gets cleanings 3 times per year. In fact, he just got back from the dentist -- getting an implant and that is involving many many trips.

I, on the other hand, HATE it too. I'm lucky to get two cleanings a year; sometimes I'm bad and push it to only one per year :eek:

I'm waiting until the 3G ones become available, and probably also for the second generation ones. I wouldn't expect to use the 3G capabilities much -- there's usually a hotspot around somewhere -- but it would be worth having.

I believe Coburn is a personal friend of the President from when they were in the Senate together, despite their obvious political differences.

This is kind of a Nixon-going-to-China moment, anyway, because Fox can't plausibly claim that Coburn isn't properly conservative.

If you listen to the audio in the link I posted in my previous post, he was booed when he said Pelosi was a nice woman. He shhhh'ed the crowd and said "We can still like people and disagree with them".

I have my doubts that this is lip service from him. He has always been this way and never been nasty when expressing his points of view.

I'm thinking there's a collective ice-cream headache being generated over at Fox News about how they're going to approach this subject. If they're smart, they're going to ignore it.

I applied for another job with another bank. I also applied for a legal job with Holland America Lines.

I had assumed this was genuine, given his history of being able to separate personal relationships from political disagreements. I only meant to say that his conservative bona fides are such that he is one of the people who could "get away" with saying such things.

I guess it just fills a niche that I don't need filling. I don't read enough books to use it as a reader, and none of the 'killer' apps I've read about are anything that I really care about. Marvel comics? Really? That's the number one app for the ipad? I don't need a special device to Tweet, Facebook, or AIM since I rarely do any of those. I Box, that's about it.;)

If I need on the go connectivity, I'll use my Droid and if I need my netbook and connectivity, I'll tether the Droid to that.
