OnePass Posts Slower?

I appreciate this must have come up, but my two-week-old CO flight still hasn't posted. Is this unusual and why aren't gateside BP scans automatically converted into mileage?

jamflyer May 7, 2007 7:18 pm

Still waiting for flight from 4/29 to post.:td:

channa May 7, 2007 7:45 pm

Something must be up. CO usually posts in 2-3 days.

Heck, my AS flight from 4/29 posted to my CO account late last week!

uthornsgo May 7, 2007 9:52 pm

I don't understand why my Delta flights get credited to my onepass account in less time than my Continental flights. One of the many mysteries of Onepass...

Delta boarding pass scans are interfaced with SkyMiles and credits post as the flight is dispatched.

It's not complicated.

CO 1E May 8, 2007 8:22 am

My CO flights have been taking about five days to post recently - that's longer than in the past.

Lurch May 8, 2007 9:30 am

My flights usually post in a couple of days, but my extra mile bonus stll has not posted in almost two weeks.

entropy May 8, 2007 9:36 am

Mine took 5 days as well... but they posted correctly so I can't complain too much!

dan1431 May 8, 2007 10:41 am

DL seems to post the minute the door is closes for the flight, while CO seems to post 2-3 days following the flight.

IMHO, NW seems to post the slowest usually a week to ten days later.

Dan

dmbfan222 May 8, 2007 11:10 am

It has been taking longer lately, about 5-7 days for me.

mbreuer May 8, 2007 11:41 am

I also had flights post out of order (later flights posted, not earlier ones).

If it matters, on the flights which posted late, my BP's were not scanned.

CLEHillbilly May 8, 2007 12:31 pm

Mine have been also posting slower than normal and even out of order.

FWIW, week and a half ago I had Czech Airlines flights post to my account on the same day I flew it. I took the flight at 7AM in Europe, back in the USA at 4PM it was posted!

elll May 8, 2007 1:41 pm

Mine have been mixed. Some have continued to post within 2-3 days. A couple of others have taken a week.

hothen33 May 8, 2007 2:04 pm

My Emirates trip from last month took nearly 3 weeks to post .Guess that's forgivable for an out of network partner though.

Still frustrating that EK doesn't generate miles towards elite status though...!!

rkkwan May 8, 2007 9:07 pm

My mom's IAH-EWR-HKG 4/29 posted today 5/8. That's the longest I've seen. But yes, it has been like 5-7 days lately.

One nice surprise though. It was a "Q" fare booked online, but was manually rebooked. In the past, this almost guaranteed a phone call to OPSC to get the other 50% of EQM. But this time, the EQMs posted properly.

fly co to see the yanks May 9, 2007 1:18 am

generally speaking, CO posts slower than most other airlines.

RNE May 9, 2007 5:32 am

Something About 4/29

My 5/2 flights posted before my 4/29 flights! But my 5/5 flights posted in 2 days, so maybe things are back to normal now.

CO 1E May 9, 2007 8:50 am

My flight from Sunday just posted today, so it's down to three days.

Same here...just hit Platinum! Woohoo!

It was an April 29th thing

Hi Everyone, just to clarify, we did have an issue that caused us to delay the posting of miles for any flights taken on April 29th 2007. By now, all miles for flights taken on this date should be posted. Sorry about that.

NOLAnwGOLD May 20, 2007 3:24 pm

So any other word at how long it takes for Emirates flight miles to show up in OP?? Thanks!

Usually up to 10 business days.

peejayemm May 21, 2007 1:30 pm

CO.com bonus?

Newbie q: I did a run on 5/3-5/4 (on an L fare) and the flights posted in about a week, but at 50% EQM. Since I purchased on CO.com I believe that I am entitled to 100% EQM. Should I be patient or bug the OPSC?

I would send them an email to request full credits. In the past, such errors occassionally auto-corrected, but it will expedite the process if you send an email.

Will do. Thanks.

CLEHillbilly Jun 4, 2007 3:53 pm

Now my Gift Account Credits are posting faster than the flights themselves...

glcarter Jun 4, 2007 4:50 pm

Been wondering about this.

Had this happen to me very recently. Booked online and then had to call to reschedule. EQS lost. Will a call to the OPSC be all it takes to get the appropriate credit? EDIT: Oops - just saw CO 1E post above. I'll take your advice.

And, yes, I have noted a substantial lag in posting my credits - but they've all eventually made it in the proper fashion...

Sorry Scott, but I am still waiting for flights taken LGW-IAH-CRP on 5/30 to post. My AA flight taken on 5/31 has posted this morning, while my UA flights taken on 6/2 have already shown up. I had to submit an e-mail request for a CoEx flight on 5/25 flight to post while CO4 on 5/25 posted in 48 hours. The posting of flights has been very irregular over the last 5 months.

It's not complicated.

It's also true in the other direction: CO flights post faster to DL SkyMiles than to OnePass. This is for the same flight (Mrs. ralfp credited her DL acct) for an itin purchased on CO.com. DL posts within a day (IIRC), whereas CO takes a couple of days. KE also posts faster to DL than to CO. I doubt that the CO boarding pass scanners are interfaced with SkyMiles.

ContinentalSurfer Jun 5, 2007 12:20 pm

If the miles from your past Continental flights have not posted in a reasonable period of time, please let us know by sending us your ticket and flight numbers via the "Missing Mileage Request" form on www.continental.com. We apologize for any delays. Sometimes the computer gremlins cause problems. The Missing Mileage requests are worked manually by agents here at the OnePass Service Center. For any Partner missing mileage credits that did not post, please mail your Boarding Passes and Ticket Receipts to us and we will post your missing miles as soon as possible.
