Its real popular with the country folks.

Uh, it's popular with pretty much everyone in Tx, not just the "country folks" that you mention.

I did not say it was ONLY popular with the country folks.

What we really need onboard is Fresca!

I'd be far more impressed if CO upgraded the bourbon choice to say include Maker's Mark instead of the cheap and awful Jim Beam

YES!!! The only diet soda that doesn't at all taste like it. Plus, it's a Coke product, so it would be OK with corporate. I'd say replace Diet Sprite with Fresca. So much better.

I'd go for the Fresca idea, but if CO did replace Diet Sprite with Fresca.....could you imagine the letters to HQ?????

Somehow I missed this thread, but discovered Pibb was on the flight on my own last week! Man, they do not advertise it. I've flown enough to qualify for Platinum, and it took me almost 11 months to find out.

Anyway, although belated, I'd like to say that this is great news!

Quote from Mitch Hedberg:

Mr. Pibb is like a B***S*** Dr. Pepper, because dude never got his degree.
Perhaps that's why they changed the name to Pibb Xtra. I liked the old name better, because the new name makes me think more about all of the sugar and caffeine.

They changed the name of Mr. Pibb ??? Didn't they learn their lesson when they changed the formula of Coca Cola?

But not the new Fresca that's been around for a few years. Lets get the old Fresca back. It was more grapefruity.

For the first time this week, the FA actually announced that they had Mr. Pibb. But the one can was gone by the time she got back to my seat in 12A on the ERJ.

On my flight on Sunday night, I saw a small refrigerator stocked full of Mr. Pibb. Thought it a bit odd. I prefer Dr. Pepper, but Monsieur Pibb will do in a pinch.

And, if anybody at CO is listening, I wholeheartedly support the grassroots Fresca campaign.

While we're at it, can CO stock Coke Zero? I prefer that to Diet Coke. :)

Yes on Fresca! Delta had it for awhile, but apparently discontinued it :td: Fresca is a great product, and can be ordered in different flavors. It's thoroughly refreshing!
