OnePass award question

So I fought a flight i want but they make me do PHL-DTW, DTW-EWR, EWR-LGW and back. I would rather just drive from Philly to EWR than take the extra flights. However, a strait EWr-LGW is only open for SleezyPass. Is there anyway I can get out of the domestic segments? They are on NW so CO will have to pay for me to fly them so it would work better for everyone. Anyone ever have this problem before?

That seems like a really strange routing! I don't know if Continental actually "pays" for the NW ticket in the strict sense of the term. The routing probably makes sense to CAL!

Why not call and see if anything is available on DL, NW or even Virgin.

I plan on calling I just wanted to know if anyone had this problem before and if they were willing to let you skip segments.

I don't believe they'll let you skip the segments :( I'd call them to see if there are other options. Since you're going to LGW, is it possible to connect through CLE or even IAH! I mean, if you're going to have to fly round the world for sport, why no IAH, or connect on Virgin through MIA!
