How to Get the Most out of BF Experience...?

I will be flying from EWR to NRT on BF on 12/20. This is my first time flying out of EWR and using Continental's BF service. Does anyone care to share how I can maximize this experience? Thank you!

You'll have to be more specific than what you're asking.

My advice could be "take advantage of the lie-flat seats (and an ambien) to sleep the entire flight, it will make the long flight seem very very short" but I have a feeling that's not what you're looking for.

Since your flight leaves in the morning, I would say don't eat dinner (or not much, at least) the night before. Definitely skip breakfast. Also, don't eat all of anything they bring you.

I only fly BF to South America, and when I do I'm so stuffed by the time dessert comes around I can't even imagine eating another bite.

Others likely have several recommendations, but since I love to eat and am not big enough to hold everything they bring me, I would just say to sit back, don't eat all of the first items they bring you (unless you're accustomed to eating large sums of food in one sitting), and enjoy!

For the sake of your neighbors as well as yourself, do not eat a lot of food on a very long flight (which yours is).

Eat and sleep. The audio/visual system usually is broken or poor quality so dont count on going to the movies for anything good.Save some room for the dessert cart and have a nice big Vanilla Ice Cream Sunday with a cherry on top.Bring a cork for you know what and you will be just fine.
Ps The previos post about bring an ambien is credible

Pack 3 bags of 70lb each with the maximum size of 62" linear inches.

Go to the airport ASAP. Use the BF line for bagdrops, then use the Elite Accesss line through security even though it may not be faster. Go to the President's Club between the C-2 and C-3 wings and spend the most time there - drink as much as you can without (or with) passing out and eating all the snacks. Use the shower there too. Ask the PC people to do as much stuff as you can think about.

Before boarding, ask the greycoat to get you passes for shower in Tokyo. And ask him/her to do as much stupid stuff for you as you can think of - like tell them to call your kid/dog to make sure they're okay without you. Make sure you walk on every blue carpet you can see in EWR, including the one for BF passengers at your actual gate.

Oh, go check on continental.com to find out the BF menu for your flight. Don't do the executive menu option, but have all the courses spreaded out instead. And ask if they have leftovers so you can have more food too. Drink as much as you can with or without passing out. Like others have said, ice cream and more ice cream.

Play with the big chair's control as often as you wish, but may want to skip the movies...

And use the shower when you get to Tokyo.

That's all I can think of... :p

Don't expect much and hope for something.... BF is not the end all of anything great in air travel except that you have a lot more space than you would have in Y. Take the ambien and enjoy the space. Your next meal at Applebees will be more appealing than anything you see in BF.

You forgot to ask for the razor and shaving cream per the instruction card in the amenity kit.

Oh, and while you're at it, on your way off of the plane, grab that unused amenity kit (you know, the one still sealed in plastic) left behind by the frequent flier who was sitting in 1D...

Then sell it on Ebay for $2.50 ;)

Or donate them to the local Boy/Girl Scouts troops for their next camping trip. My Boss (a BS troup leader) and I have been doing that for 2 years now, the kits have been a big hit for the kids on camping trips.

Hint to CO, donate some kits to the Kids/Scouts.

And don't forget the slippers, too.
