762 BF Experience?

I've already tried using the search function (no luck) and wanted some FT'er opinions about an upcoming flight from EWR-MPX in BF.

I'm aware of the food, but was wondering if CO has yet to put the AVOD equip on this route. Anyone to confirm or deny? I really appreciate it.

Have you tried looking at continental.com?
I can guarantee you 100% the answer to your question is there.

AVOD has only been installed in the 752s, though it will begin to be installed on the widebodies starting with the 777s. It really is a cool system and is much needed IMHO.

I did EWR-MXP last week (in Y) :) If you don't like the IFE you can bring your own. There are empower adapters in the BF seats and in the seats at the front of Y.

One semi-related recommendation: take the center, solo seat. You have aisle access on both sides, no one next to you and a feeling of total privacy and isolation. Try the 3rd or 4th row as the chatter and clatter from the galley will wake you if you are any closer. Enjoy the trip!

I'm a center/solo seat fan as well, but have noticed that sometimes meal service can take a little longer because each FA thinks the one on the other side of your seat is taking care of you. Of course sometimes (although it seems more rarely) you end up getting double the attention!

Have a great flight!

I would take a center seat in rows 2-4. In 1D, people often try to cross in front of you (and become bellicose if you take steps to prevent them from doing so ;)) and 5D is too close to coach andm looks like it has slightly limited recline (although I don't know through experience, as I avoid that row). 2D is my favorite seat.

I always book the center seat as well, but I've always had the opposite happen each time - I've gotten attention from both sides of attendants. It's great! Plus, no one bothers you to get up when you're sleeping.

And, to answer the OP, the video system currently on the 767's is crap. Looped tapes of shows, not AVOD. I do love, however, that they are uncensored. Flying other airlines is annoying when scenes of movies are missing because of "indecency" - blessed FCC!
