;)

But I recall the episode over the CO Chase deal, and the NW zero fares matter..

(To clarify, what I meant is sometimes we let our biases come into play on here, and I apologize for getting off topic)

CO probably has a better product than most (specifically NW in my experience). DL product varies by the aircraft you are on.

And, I'd say there really is no best. CO works for me because of where I'm located and my domestic travel for business only routing. For international travelers, those lving in Dallas, Chicago or PHX the answer would be a different best. My boss really is not liking the 'new' America West/US Air, but he lives in PHX. It's them or Southwest....

I don't want to get too far off topic here but yes we've had issues with the respective airlines and always will, please don't misunderstand me, I'm not saying we must praise them because I'm not....what I am asking is why we're attacking other FT Members? I don't understand the personal attacks

Back on topic, sure OP worked for me for a few years but it no longer does so I made the switch to NW, it doesn't mean I don't set foot on the blue tail (I do) but for me WP works better, but that doesn't mean it will for everyone.....we all need to find which program works the best for each of us and even though they are in the same partnership doesn't mean everything is equal....did CO/Chase mess up sure...did NW mess up on the zero fares yes...but as the OP stated he doesn't feel AW would work for him

Sorry to hear about your bad experiences with USAir (western fleet ;) )

AW's first class cabin has always been questionable, has anyone actually done a comparison of them vs AA/DL/NW (CO is better, without argument I'm sure )

I'm new to OnePass (was previously AA Platinum and CO matched with Gold) and have been very impressed with CO so far. I flew AUS-IAH-EWR-BWI-IAH-AUS in January and was upgraded on all flights. Beginners luck maybe? I'm hoping the rest of this year goes that well on CO.

I won't say beginners luck, but I will say it's wildly variable. I've not been upgraded on H fares and have also been ugraded 7 days out (confused, but not about to ask) on a lower fare...

There is no such thing as luck, its all about the numbers and odds. You can really break it down to a scientific method if you want, but that said - Welcome to OnePass and Good Luck ;)

I flew it a couple of weeks ago and it was quite nice. B757 from ORD to PHL at 6PM. They actually served a real dinner on the 90 minute flight. A Cobb salad with big shrimps on top.

That's opposed to a bag of peanuts on CO, Toronto-EWR (a 60 minute flight though) on a cramped 737-500.
