How's EWR doing? Are flights going out?
 

I have a flight at around 7pm on an ERJ and was wondering if today's scheduled flights are going out. Any feedback from those at EWR appreciated.

All the flights from, EWR to south florida (MIA, FLL, PBI) were cancelled this morning.
Also, a friend of mine is traveling to ATL this afternoon and the flight showed on time all day but she's been sitting at the gate delayed 40 minutes now awaiting the arrival of the crew.

Check this out also - the chart at the top left of the page shows the volume of flights each hour. This is dramatically different to a normal 24hr period!

The detail on it is amazing - especially if you look at the flight paths of some of the aircraft...

Have a look at this! Continental Express flight PIT-EWR this evening, anyone on this must have been quite disoriented by the time they landed! :) It seems like a lot of flights into EWR this evening did something similar, but this is one of the more dramatic examples:
