Has anyone been offered a "buy-up" to the next Elite level?

Hi FTers,

Just curious if anyone has been contacted by CO this year with an offer to pay cash to "buy up" to the next Elite level.

I got such an offer a few years ago when I fell 10K miles short of Plat. I could use such an offer this year, as I fell short of Plat, but am unsure if CO is still doing this. [Yes, I know that the official line of CO is that you must fly 75K miles to get Plat status. I also know that their marketing department makes 'targeted exceptions' at their discretion.]

Anybody gotten such an offer, or heard of anyone else who has?

Thanks,

CALfly5

PS> Apologies if this topic has been discussed elsewhere. I did a search, but the search engine crashed on me 3 times, and I looked through 4 pages of threads with no luck, so I decided just to post my question.

The search engine is crashing with some frequency, so go easy on the "Do a search" retort.

I don't think there's anything out there yet about this year's buyups, IIRC.
