I am posting the transportation details below. Please read them CAREFULLY.

Second, PLEASE be polite and take time to THANK the CO people. They all are volenteering and giving up their weekend to help and host us. ESPECIALLY the people working outside in the parking lots etc. Let's show them we appreciate them and their effort.

Here is the schedule:

Friday

On Friday evening, one bus will run a circle trip beginning 6:30 pm starting at the Sheraton, go over to the Doubletree and then to the Marriott. It will then go back to the Sheraton to begin the process all over again. This schedule will have a bus at the Sheraton hotel just about every 25 minutes (give or take a few minutes for any extraordinary traffic). The bus will continue circling until midnight when it will make the last pick up at the Marriott, and then drop at the Doubletree and the Sheraton.



We will have a registration table outside the ballroom at the Marriott with name badges and markers for everyone to write their own name. We will have a personalized envelope for each attendee (or couple) which will contain their tour tickets and drink coupons.



We will have the cocktail reception from 7:00 - 8:00 pm. The Mexican Fiesta buffet will start at 8:00 pm., and be refreshed through 9:30 pm. The DJ will start playing at 8:00 pm and continue until midnight.



Saturday

Each tour has a separate color ticket that will correspond to a bus with a matching colored sign. Volunteers will also have colored signs to direct guests to the corresponding bus.



PARKING FOR LOCALS

Locals may park at Hangar E (4849 Wright Road) in the old Avis lot. See the attached drawing for directions.



REGISTRATION FOR LOCALS

For locals that do not attend the Friday event, we will have a small registration table in the parking lot. We will use this registration table as a location to deliver any remaining tour tickets. The registration table will only be open from 8:00 to 8:50 am when the buses leave the Hangar parking lot.



SIM TOUR

The bus for the YELLOW ticket, Sim Tours, will leave the Sheraton at 8:30 am. It will go to the Doubletree to pick-up and leave there at 8:35. It will then go the Hangar E parking lot (formerly the AVIS lot) and depart there at 8:50. It will go to the Marriott, leaving there at 8:55. It will arrive at the SIM building at 9:00 am. Once at the SIM building the attendees will go into the simulators indicated on their tickets (777, 757, 737 or MD80) four at a time. Those not in the simulator, will meet in the break room where Jim and Mark will host a Q and A. Beverages will also be available in the break room. This tour will end at 11:00 am and drop the attendees back at their hotels. Attendees on this tour will be back at their hotel before 11:30 am.



The bus for the BLUE ticket Sim Tours will leave the Sheraton at 10:30 am. It will go to the Doubletree to pick-up and leave there at 10:35. It will go the Hangar E parking lot (formerly the AVIS lot) and depart there at 10:50. It will go to the Marriott, leaving there at 10:55. It will arrive at the SIM building at 11:00 am. Once at the SIM building the tour will be the same as the Yellow tour. These attendees will be picked up at 1:00 pm and should be back to their hotels by 1:30 pm, at the latest.



HQ TOUR

The bus for the ORANGE ticket Headquarters Tour A, will leave the Sheraton at 8:30 am. It will go to the Doubletree to pick-up, leaving there at 8:35. It will go the Hangar E parking lot (formerly the AVIS lot) and depart there at 8:50. It will go to the Marriott, leaving there at 8:55. It will arrive at headquarters around 9:30 am. Once at HQ, the group will be divided into three groups. One group will go to System Operations Control Center, one will go to the Tasting Kitchen and one will go to the Executive floor and/or the Company Store. After about 40 minutes, each group will rotate to another area. The bus to return these attendees to the hotels will pick them up at HQ at 11:30 am. The attendees should arrive at their hotels no later then 12:15 pm.



The bus for the LIME ticket Headquarters Tour B, will leave the Sheraton at 10:30 am. It will go to the Doubletree to pick-up, leaving there at 10:35. It will go the Hangar E parking lot (formerly the AVIS lot) and depart there at 10:50. It will go to the Marriott, leaving there at 10:55. It will arrive at Headquarters around 11:30 am. Once at HQ, the tour will be the same as the Orange tour. The bus to return these attendees to the hotels will pick them up at HQ at 1:30 pm. The attendees should arrive at their hotels no later then 2:15.



AIRPORT TOURS

The bus for the PURPLE ticket Airport Tour will leave the Sheraton at 8:30 am. It will go to the Doubletree to pick-up, leaving there at 8:35. It will go the Hangar E parking lot (formerly the AVIS lot) and depart there at 8:50. It will go to the Marriott, leaving there at 8:55. It will arrive at the Chelsea Kitchen at about 10:05. After touring the Chelsea Kitchen, this tour will go to the Maintenance Hangar for a guided tour. After Maintenance, this tour will proceed to the airport to tour the baggage processing center, and/or to visit the Company Store. After the last stop, this bus will return attendees to their hotels by 1:00 pm.



The bus for the PINK ticket Airport Tour will leave the Sheraton at 8:30 am. It will go to the Doubletree to pick-up, leaving there at 8:35. It will go the Hangar E parking lot (formerly the AVIS lot) and depart there at 8:50. It will go to the Marriott, leaving there at 8:55. It will arrive at the Maintenance Hangar at about 10:05. After touring Maintenance, this tour will go to the airport for the Baggage tour and/or the Company Store. Following Baggage, this tour will go to the Chelsea Kitchen. After the last stop, this bus will return attendees to their hotels by 1:00 pm.



The bus for the RED ticket Airport Tour will leave the Sheraton at 8:30 am. It will go to the Doubletree to pick-up, leaving there at 8:35. It will go the Hangar E parking lot (formerly the AVIS lot) and depart there at 8:50. It will go to the Marriott, leaving there at 8:55. It will arrive at the airport at about 10:05. After touring the Baggage processing center and/or the Company Store, this tour will go to the Chelsea Kitchen. Following Chelsea, this tour will go to the Maintenance Hangar. After the last stop, this bus will return attendees to their hotels by 1:00 pm.



BUS SHUTTLE TO THE HANGAR EVENT

Two buses will do circle trips beginning at the Sheraton at 2:30 pm. It will go to the Doubletree to pick-up, leaving there at 2:35. It will go to the Marriott, leaving there at 2:40. It will then go over to the Hangar, and repeat the entire process. A bus should be in front of the Sheraton about every 15 minutes. The buses will run until 4:00 pm. They will start the process again at 7:30 pm and continue until 9:30 pm.



HANGAR EVENT

Larry will do his presentation and Q and A from 3:30 to 5:30 pm. We will have aisle microphones for the Q and A session. At 5:30 pm the Continental BBQ team will begin serving dinner and the bars will open. There will be background music, but no DJ

I may have missed something, but will the bus trip for the airport tours take from 8:55 to 10:05 to get there? I would have thought it would be more like 15 minutes or so.

One correction
The street to turn off Will Clayton is Colonel Fischer and not Lee Rd. Parking is across the street from the hangar.

Anyone know if the busses for Saturdays Q&A in the hangar will go by the Avis lot for the locals?

The hanger is right next to the AVIS lot. So... No. The old avis lot is near the cell phone lot.
