GUM Options

I'm heading to GUM in September, or at least thinking about it, and just wondering if anyone has any routing selections. I'm coming ex-Australia, so I'm considering the CNS-GUM option however Continental's site isn't helping me much in that respect.

Anyone who has done this routing before, is it a morning/afternoon/night flight ? Anyone advice would be appreciated.

According to the current timetable, flights in September from CNS-GUM are:

Flight 903
M, T, F
738
DEP 00:10
ARR 04:35

The flight leaves at midnight and arrives at 4:30AM.

It makes for a long day in CNS but if you are going to GUM I don't know of any other options.

I'm heading up from BNE, so the long day in CNS isn't really a problem. I'd either go QF545-932 via SYD (yes, it's the long way around) which turns up at 2140 or via TSV on QF976-2314 arriving 1925.

The other possible routing I'm looking at, (seeing as no OW airlines fly to GUM, I'm not airline loyal so don't care), would be BNE-NRT-GUM or BNE-KIX-GUM

When I traveled CNS to BNE in October 2005 I used Virgin Blue which was cheaper than Jet Star or QF.

CNS is a great place to spend time in. The RSL club is tops. ^ ^ ^ ^ ^
