Wow! CDG's review needs an update. 4 years ago? No wonder I wasn't relating. I didn't see it till more than a year and a half later!

Continental's situation has changed. I preferred their position in 2A.

Their lounge is now the Star Alliance lounge, which is fine, albeit windowless. The arrival lounge is the Sheraton Hotel, which is actually in Terminal 2.

I think I've been terribly lucky. Although I've had delays, I've never had trouble with rude staff or way-finding at CDG. Perhaps it's because I've always been an O&D passenger; connections might be a big part of the problem.
