On line check in bonus posting issues
 
I cannot figure out the way Continental is posting these bonuses. Sometimes they post with the flight, other times nothing. I always check in and print boarding passes. I hate having to track the bonuses down, and technically they don't necessarily need to have posted yet. Yet as all know, if they haven't posted in a couple weeks; it's time to track them down because more than likely they are not coming.

my 2 (different tkts) posted with the flights. I even got the 1000 bonus for purchasing online too. I know its Now 500 but I purchased the tkt back in July and only now used the return portion which is when they post the online bonus.

Funny I got the 500 for online purchase for the other tkt that I purchased after the amount changed and only flew 1 portion of that tkt, the return portion is for March '06

I too am finding that sometimes they post with the flights, and sometimes not at all. Am anxious to see if a call will be necessary before it's all said and done.

I've had problems with the posting of online booking and check-in bonuses. When I last called to check on them, the agent told me that if they hadn't posted within 48 hours, they probably would not show up without a call to OnePass. He said that CO was trying to determine why some bonuses were posting while others aren't. He fixed it on the spot. It took maybe five minutes, and this included his asking some questions so that he could make notes for tech support.

My check-in and booking bonuses have posted with the flights - the other promotional stuff has been all over the place, and not correct. I've been emailing as they mis-post and they're usually corrected within a few hours... I'd guess that IT has their hands full with this.
