Help with Seat Selection-CO First-Timer

Please advise. Got a colleague who will be flying "Y" w/ his 4-year old daughter IAH/CDG. We are not One Pass members and know very little about CO. Can you please tell us how we can view a seat map on-line? Does it require a One-Pass account? PAX are already ticketed.
Flights are 777 both ways.
Bulkhead is a consideration if available...may help keep 4-year old "fenced in", but not if legroom is too restrictive.
Power requested (SEatGUru says only forward coach seats have it...is that correct?
Your assistance appreciated.

If SeatGuru says it, it must be true http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

But seriously, the same people who post here contribute to SeatGuru, so that is your best source of info on seats. As for viewing what is available for the specific flight, the only way I've ever done it is to log in to co.com and pull up my reservation then click the "change seats" link.

To get online access to your reservation, I think you need a OnePass account. Once you get it, you can add the reservation to your account reservations file with the confirmation # and your last name. Once it's linked to your OP account, you can view seat maps for your flights and change seats. Forward rows are blocked for elite seating and only Platinum Elites can grab bulkhead/exit rows online. Your best bet might be to make a phone call.

You can do it online. May as well get the miles, you never know when you will be able to use then - no pun intended.
