Posting of miles for Amtrak travel

Generally how long should this take? I travelled two weeks ago and the miles haven't posted. Is this normal or should I be checking.

Hey lensman, were these CO coded Amtrak segments or Acela/Metroliner (NYP-WAS or NYP-BOS) segments?

Acela segments.

I'm now crediting my Acela segments to my Amtrak Guest Rewards account and I've noticed that my segments posted with the following lag:
13 days
6 days
9 days
6 days
10 days

Do you think it's better to post the miles to your Amtrak account over Onepass?

You can always just transfer them back and forth if you change your mind

This Acela trip was my last 1K miles to post to OP to get Gold for next year.

So, I guess I am waiting 2 weeks.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Miles posted from Amtrak for trip taken on 11/20 and 11/21 on Acela Business Class ticket from NY Penn to Boston South Station.

Miles posted yesterday, 11/30; so 9 days.

And it was a AAA discounted ticket.

I post the miles to where I need the EQM's.

On a straight mileage basis, you have to compare the bonus miles you get for your elite tier on CO vs Amtrak. I get more bonus miles on CO, except during Amtrak promotions.

Also, I bought the tickets on the Amtrak Website; then called USA-RAIL to add my OP number.

These are all questions *I* asked, so I figured I would answer them on experience.

Does anyone know if these same timelines (two weeks for miles to post to CO, give or take) applies to Amtrak segments which are CO-coded? I flew LAX-ZFV via EWR about three weeks ago -- all ticketed through Continental -- and while the flight segments have posted, the train segment has not yet appeared in my OnePass account.

not sure, but i'm having the same problem--over a month ago i was on a CO-coded train segment as part of my itinerary, and only the CO flights have posted. Strangely enough I checked in online for the both the train and flight segments so I'm unsure why it has taken so long.

Same here -- I've had problems with this for some time. I've basically given up on getting these posted. I wasn't so lax about it when it was 500 miles and 1 segment but since they changed the rules it's really not worth my time to complain.

I waited about 2 weeks - then filled out the online form (ueed the eticket #). OPSC posted the miles within 24 hours of the request.

I'd not tried the electronic credit request for this in a while so I figured I'd do it now since I have all the info from the last of these handy. Sure enough, I recall the problem I ran into last time. Their form doesn't think ZFV is a valid destination! I think putting in PHL worked last time I tried this...
