Yes, and have been for the past 3 + years and with a current 2003 elite balance of 72,400--(& at least 6 more CO flights before year end), I'll make Plat again through 2005. Strange though, it appears mine was the only offer requiring 6 r/t. Most others require only 3??

Is this an open promotion, or is it targeted as well?

It doesn't appear to be targeted.

Hmm. Strange. Called the PC folks twice, and they aren't budging. Unfortunately it appears this one is targeted, and they do an exhaustive search of your OnePass account to verify if you were selected for the promotion before going ahead with it.

It's a great deal though for those who received it! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Hmm...very interesting. The offer was just a regular direct mail mailing from the Presidents Club. This is probably the fourth mailing I've received from them since June. The form didn't say anything about the offer being targeted. My name isn't even on the form (nor is my Elite status reflected...the order form shows rates for all elite/non-elite levels.) The form says you can either call their number and reference the code or simply mail-in the form. I suppose I could snail-mail it to someone if they were interested http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

it bothers me that one can register for a promotion online (http://www.continental.com/onepass/oPromotions.asp?) and CO.O.L can come back saying everything is okay but you really aren't registered (i.e., a targeted promotion).

I hope you have seen my other post about these targeted promos.

i agree 100%. it's so frustrating not to know if I am targeted for sure!

Well, if you are so inclined, would you mind shooting it my way? :-) I'd like to see if they'll accept the form. If it doesn't have their whole non-transferable, only for person named text, maybe there's a bit more wiggle room.

I'll send you my details in an e-mail.

I looked all over the form and not only do I see no personalization, but I don't see any special codes or mentions that this is a targeted offer. (i.e.: some other bonus mile promotions at least have a GG code, but not this one.) The only restriction placed on the offer is that it ends 9/30/03.

Does anyone have any other promos to add to the list? I'll be flying on some B and V fares soon and would like to take advantage of whatever promos I can. The only one of the above promos I was able to register for is the Amex 5k miles one.
