Packed or Empty or Cancelled CO Flight?
I'm on an international flight in a few weeks that's been pretty empty --when I used online sites to view the seatmap, both the J and Y cabins were pretty open ...and the Y cabin was practically empty.
However, since this weekend, online sites show a full line of 0's on the flight: J0 D0 Z0 Y0 H0 K0 N0 B0 V0 U0 Q0 I0 S0 W0 T0 X0 L0 Does this mean that the flight, still a few weeks away, is completely sold out ...or does it mean it's about to be cancelled? Or is this just a symptom of unreliable online booking data? |
I'd phone in and find out. I had a flight that was cancelled that went zero's across the board.

We're booked on a flight to GYE later this month, just looked at the seat-map, there's only 34 of 141 coach seats occupied on the 737-800. (that's up from 19 three weeks ago)
If it was zeroed out I'd sure give a call to see what's up. |
Technically, it's possible there are a lot of consolidator and/or codeshare tix on that flight, and many people don't have seat assignments.
It's still highly suspect, though, so be safe and give them a call. |
