The wife, son & I were flying to TPA one evening a few years ago and I snagged one seat on the DTW - TPA flight. Well because the wife and son took the 2 eua's that I got from LAN - DTW, I sat in the big seat to TPA...

Let me tell you I will never do that again, as I still hear about it from Mrs Bigpops... So learn from my experience if it comes down to you or her in the front, you'd better be in the last row so she can't gloat at you, which I also did from my seat in front!!! Pretty stupid but what do you expect from someone who is only 55 years old.

But they were only engaged...he might have still harbored illusions of getting lucky.

My wife and I alternate when only one of us gets lucky. Some FA's have been amused when I've used the name Molly Brown.

The thought that might lose a EAu because of last name seems pathetic. I would think something like who has had the fewest EAU's YTD would at least have an element of fairness

Or how about a randomizer? If tied on all counts, randomly pick one of the tied individuals and assign it to that person. That'd be a fair way to do it that's not exhaustive on other computing resources (calculating an individual's YTD EUA percentage sounds like a lot of calculations on the fly for something like EUA that shouldn't be so complicated, and pre-calculating and storing YTD EUA data specifically for this rather infrequent use seems like an unnecessary use of space).

The best one I remember from NYC was Zzzzzy Ztamp Ztudioz, don't know if it's still there. Sorry, a bit off topic.

:)

My wife is usually pretty understanding when this happens as she would rather not hear me ***** and moan about being stuck back in coach. Though it was pretty dicey when I got an op up to CDG and the concierge was unable to free up another seat for about 15 minutes.

Sorry for the delay, but I've been doing my hurricane prepwork here.

I did send back a glass of the white wine for her...
