Misconnect - a choice ?
 

I have an interesting difficulty with a misconnect on a booked MR itinerary, PHL - BOS.

CO have changed the flights so that I land in my turn around city (BOS) 1 minute before my next scheduled flight departs.

I am aware that I should be able able to change to another flight without any difficulties, however there are NO other alternatives on that date. I checked, I can find NO other possibilities on that day.

This is booked for a Saturday, and that is the only day that the specific problem change of itinerary will occur, so would it normally be allowed to change the itinerary to a different day, which is NOT the following day ?

If they do not allow me to make such a change I will have to make a choice between cancelling this completely and replacing it with a different MR on the same date

The one time I ran into a similar situation, they let me change the outbound to the day before.
