When do seats open?
 

I am flying to Puerto Vallarta in several weeks, and have tickets, but can be assigned a seat yet. When I go to the Continental web site, it shows the plane full, except for about 15 seats reserved, but not apparently booked, for Elite One Pass members. Does anyone know at what point these seats become available?

Elite seats are assignable to Elites only all the way to the gate. You might be able to get a seat from that pool assigned by an agent over the phone.
There are a few rows on every flight that are held back until the day of flight.
