was just given platinum status on american. will fly continental a few more times to make gold this year. next year, it will be an american year for me, that's for sure. it's more convenient anyway. i live in manhattan and i like the option of laguardia over newark (however, i prefer newark over jfk). finally, rewAArds on AAmericAAn AAre much eAAsier to secure.

yeah, i've heard that newark is at the bottom of the totem pole as far as priority for the region. is that true?

I don't know if JFK has a higher priority, but the fact that they've twice as many runways as opposed to Newark makes a great deal of difference when landing in weather/winds.
