Lounge Pass question...

okay - i think i already know the answer to this question, but figured i'd ask anyways...

can a president's club lounge pass be used at partner lounges (i.e. the ones on their website)? i'm guessing no, but i figured the people here would be able to give me a definitive answer.

thanks...

i think people have had success using the President's Club pass at the Northwest club. i wonder if they have milanos, doritos, and/or biscotti at these Northwest lounges? http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif

I have given some passes to my friends who are constantly traveling with me and I have had some degree of success in gaining entry for them with the passes. In Rome, the Giotto Lounge (AZ) allowed my guest to enter by surrendering a one day pass. That's the only place I can say for certainty that it's happened.

I however have successfully used my PClub membership to enter not only the WorldClubs, but also the Crown Club/Room in DFW, the China Airlines Dynasty Lounge in Taipei, the JAL lounge in NRT and finally the Amtrak ClubAcela at Penn Station. The only drawback that I have ever experienced is that most of the overseas clubs/lounges do not allow for guests (except the WorldClubs). For your convenience, I have included the link for the recipricol club agreements:

What I find interesting is that they don't mention the Worldclub in NRT, yet the club itself lists Continental members on the door as welcome. I suppose Northwest is willing to let us in, but CO doesn't want to talk about it.

I have used a Pres. Club pass at the Worldclub in MSP on one occasion.

I have used a one time pass at the WC in DTW. WC being World Club not water closet.

LOL! I had a vision of you handing your pass to a confused public men's room attendant!

Scroll down to a remark by aislesonly about using the club just for the restrooms. I think it's very relevant for this discussion ...

What you are reffering to is totally differne than using the club for the bathroom. Especially if you have a PC or WC membership.
