BusinessFirst Arrivals Facilities
When I arrived in Houston yesterday morning I received a card from the BF Concierge with a list of all BF arrivals facilities. The date on the back is 10/02, so it should be relatively accurate. Maybe it will be useful to someone.

When flying international BF into EWR or IAH you can use the P-Club as an arrival facility only when you have a boarding pass for a connecting flight!

i used the one in Madrid on Saturday morning. it was quite small but nice showers.
they had dry cereal and coffee but no milanos or doritos. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif |

But, it's my understanding that such denied admissions are a result of a mistake by the P-Club personnel rather than because it's not allowed. I've personally used this service upon arrival from a HKG-EWR flight. Me and my travel companion were admitted to the P-Club based solely on our boarding passes showing that we had just arrived on a same-day BusinessFirst flight. I had both a P-Club membership as backup, so I knew that I was getting in one way or the other, but it was not necessary - my arriving boarding pass was sufficient. One thing that I do not know is if passengers admitted due to a BusinessFirst ticket are allowed guests. I could not find a reference to this on the CO website. |

Any update on arrivals facility for BF passengers terminating in EWR. I assume that after going through Customs, I will end up outside of security, so I'm not sure if I could get back to the PC located inside security.

Just curious how they treat Hawaii arrivals and departures for this. If you are holding a "BF" ticket to/from a Hawaiian destination, do you get admittance to the Pres Club? Does this also count if you have an award ticket?

If they begin to market it as domestic first, they will probably take away the access for non club members (unless you have the AX Platinum Card or other way of entry). Does anyone have any recent experience as being denied entry? |
<< Any more opinions on this? My wife is coming in on a BF flight next month. Will she be ablse to access the PC with her BF boarding card upon arrival at EWR? >>
She should be allowed to access the PC upon arrival. She should ask the BF Concierge for assistance. << Also, the first list does not show any arrival facility at HNL. Are there any- published or unpublished? >> The HNL PC should be accessible, although it may not be listed as I don't recall it has shower facilities. << Any update on arrivals facility for BF passengers terminating in EWR. And yes, any class of service (i.e. reward class) within the BF cabin is acceptable. And BF customers are allowed up to 2 guests or immediate family when visiting the PCs - same as if they were a member. There are some exceptions to this rule (First/Business customers to/from Latin destinations, for example). ------------------ Work Hard, Fly Right |

Note that if you have checked bags they will not allow you to do this, as there is no facility in EWR to store bags that are not allowed past security. |
Anyone w/ recent experience at the Madrid arrival facilities? Going there Thursday (on Standard BF award!). Figuring out if it's practical to get a shower before heading off to pick up our rental car. (i.e., is it in/ at airport, etc.)..
Thnx! Alec |

Shower at Frankfurt
Has anyone used the showers for BF at Frankfurt? Is it in a lounge airside or is it in a hotel landside as in some of the other shower facilities? I'm trying to figure out if I would have enough time after landing to use the shower.

Also note that this is also the depature lounge now as well. Its an OK lounge (the old Cathay lounge was better and much closer). And because its outside of security and pretty far from the gate I really dont recomend using it if you are crunched for time. |
Paris (CDG) has an AF lounge dedicated to arrivals just inside of terminal 2C, perhaps a 5 minute walk from where you exit into 2A.
