Help w/One Pass miles?
I am newbie to collecting FF miles - but after what I have read @ FT the past year - I'm really bummed I didn't start sooner!!!
Just have a few questions and any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I have Continental One Pass for myself, spouse and daughter. So far we have accumulated: Myself- 11,451 Spouse- 6,186 Daughter-6,186 I'm not quite sure why it is we originally signed up with OnePass - but we would rather be with NWA - being in Detroit. 1)Is there a way we can combine these miles/accounts to maximize the benifit? 2)Is there a way we can transfer to NWA? My wife & I are going to Venice in August - should we collect these miles under a new Worldperks Account and make the transition?? - or should we stay with CO -because when we return we will be close -if not at reward level. None of us travel that often and I read that they expire after 18 months? I'm quite sure all of our accounts are fairly close to expiring - may Duaghter is not making the trip to Venice - so I'm sure hers will. Is there a way to use any of these miles for a room in Venice or surrounding area? I thought I read somewhere about transfers to Hilton - but now cannon find it & have no idea how to do it. Last newbie question: My friend flys frequently domestic & overseas(in fact he is going to Venice as well) - but he does NOT collect miles(I've tried to tell hime about FT!!!) - he says I can have his if I want them. IS there a way for me to collect miles from his flights? Now try not to flame me too bad! : ) Thank you again. |
