Gulfstream BE1 Seat Map?

Anyone hav a seat map for Continental Connection/Gulfstream's Beechcraft 1900D? We're on a hop from MIA-NAS and want to know if these seats are truly across from each other or not (odd numbering, Expedia didn't have seat maps and just assigned these):

03F-04A
01F-02A

Thanks!

Does anyone have a magnifying glass to actually read the seat letters on this map?

no, - if you look on Continental's site, they aren't across from each other. The 1st 8 rows of seats on the left side are 'A'; The 1st 8 rows on the right are 'F'; the last row, row 9, has 3 seats - 'A' 'E' in the middle and 'F'. The rows line up, so 3A should be beside 3F.
Though in a plane this small, it doesn't matter much -- too noisy to try and talk across the aisle.

It doesn't really matter. I fly these all the time. People can usually sit wherever since all the seats are both an aisle and a window! Since it is a 1-1 config. Nobody really cares if they have to switch a row. The only seat worth fighting for is 1a (more legroom). I love these planes, they are great on a nice day, really makes you feel like you are flying.

checked bag allowance?

Is there a more restrictive checked bag allowance on these planes? (I'm actually looking at Air Namibia, haven't found their rules or web page yet. Google found this thread!)

I've always wondered why the 1900 is not included in the aircraft seat maps feature of continental.com. Does anyone know why it's not included there?

Probably so no-one can see that they're booking themselves into a 19 seat turboprop. Many people are QUITE surprised when they get told to walk out to the beechcraft

Google must be working overtime to have found this thread.... :p

I don't know any specifics about Air Namibia, but there is no difference in checked baggage allowance for BE1 planes on any airline that I have flown. If the overall weight of the plane is over limit, they will request volunteers and the like, but there is nothing special about checking a bag on an itinerary that includes a Beechcraft.

I just flew one of these a couple of weeks ago... my first BE1 flight in a long time. The weather was fine, so it was quite a nice short trip.

I flew these a lot when I lived down there out of TCB.

They are ok, but only for an hour
There really isnt any adavantage to any of the seats, although in the front, sometimes the pilots dont close the "door" so you can lean and look out the front window. Dont get stuck in the back row tho, I think its cramped.

The luggage question I cant answer, but I never had a problem, I think it also depends whether you are connecting onto mainline CO or just using Gulfstream

I don't think many of the 1900 flights are much longer than an hour.

I've often flown the 1900 BOS-PQI on USex. One peculiarity of this a/c is that, in the era of the armed cockpit door, the 1900 retains an open flight deck with no door.

Not on CO, but I did suffer through more than two hours on one of those things once out of DEN, flying late at night in thunderstorms over the mountains.

But they are kind of fun in nice weather for short flights every once in a while.

Just found this post on google when searching for something else.

I seem to recall flying on one of these from TPA to FLL about 20 years ago, and that the First Officer doubled as the FA and brought a flask of coffee round mid flight.
